To contribute to the growth of E3P, we are expanding the Acoustics Team, and are searching for a Graduate Acoustic Consultant to support on project delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To support the existing team in undertaking both office based and site-based work – site work will be a significant proportion whilst in the graduate role with long distance travel and hotel stays part of the role. Night and weekend working will be required but is of rare occurrence.
  • To undertake field-based work including environmental noise and vibration surveys.
  • Assist the project managers by analysing the measured data.
  • To gain experience of environmental noise and vibration assessments.
  • To undertake defined technical tasks within existing and new projects to produce deliverables on time to the required quality and to budget.
  • To undertake interpretative technical reporting and analysis of results from surveys – attention to detail and accuracy is required.
  • To work well within a team orientated environment.
  • Progressing your career through continued training and CPD both inside and outside of work.

As a member of E3P’s Acoustic Division you will be required to undertake a combination of office and site-based work, supporting UK-wide delivery of development schemes for a range of public and private sector Clients. Job Description

  • Assisting the wider team with noise and vibration surveys.
  • Maintenance and up keep of equipment, including arranging calibration.
  • Data collation and data entry., including detailed note taking.
  • Survey organisation and organisation of equipment.
  • Assisting the wider team with report writing; and
  • Progressing your career through continued training and CPD both inside and outside of work.

Experience and Qualification Requirements:

  • Relevant work experience within a consultancy would be desirable but not essential.
  • Degree in Acoustics or a relevant Environmental Sciences subject.

  • Must demonstrate a genuine interest in developing a career in Acoustics.
  • Must hold full clean UK driving licence or equivalent
